What is Driver?
Driver is a person who drives. In this Blog, I shall discuss about computer driver. In computer driver is a computer program or software that operates or controls a particular type of device that is attached computer.As for example we can say the name of sound card. Sound card is a computer device which we attached to computer for hearing sound. But this Sound card control or operates a computer program or software and this computer programs or softwares name is driver.
A driver occasionally communicates with the device through the computer bus or communications subsystem to which the hardware connects. When a calling program invokes a routine in the driver, the driver issues commands to the device. I hope you can understand easily what is drivers in computer program after reading this post.
